St Michael’s Hospice, Hereford

Light up a Life

For many of our supporters lighting a candle during one of our Light up a Life services, alongside other people who have also lost someone they love, is one of their most poignant, emotional and beautiful moments of the year.

This year, more than ever, we will all be aware of loved ones who have died, and we will want to remember them. Although we are unable to come together as usual, we are inviting you to join us for a ‘virtual’ service filmed at Hereford Cathedral, which we will broadcast online on Sunday 20th December at 5pm at https://www.st-michaels-hospice.org.uk/event/light-up-a-life/, and make available to view thereafter.

Filled with love and moments to remember, you will be able to enjoy readings, music, poetry, and take part in a community-wide simultaneous lighting of candles where each tiny flame will have a far-reaching effect.

We know how important coming together for Light up a Life is for many people, so we hope you’ll agree with our alternative plans to mark this occasion during these difficult times.
