ST FRANCES OF ROME

PARISH INCOME (updated 11/6/20)

A number of parishioners have asked what they should do with their weekly contributions during the isolation period. To try to answer their query the following suggestions may help.

1. Keep your contributions and hand them in as one amount (perhaps as a cheque) when we get back to normal and you can then put the cheque (or cash) in one of your envelopes, or in the normal offertory if you don’t have a numbered envelope.

2. Raise a cheque in favour of St. Frances of Rome R C Church for four or five weeks, for example, and post it together with your numbered envelope (if you have one) to:
St. Frances of Rome Church,
Sussex Avenue,
Ross on Wye,
HR9 5AL
Please mark it for the attention of Parish Office/Nigel Stewart.

3. Set up a standing order or make a direct payment by BACS from your bank account to the Parish Bank Account as detailed below.

Account Name: Archdiocese of Cardiff
Bank:                       Barclays
Sort Code:               20-18-23
Account Number: 93776085

Please use your name as a reference and add your envelope number if you have one.
A blank standing order mandate is available at:
https://monmouthandrosscatholicchurches.uk/standing-order-mandate/

This will need to be completed and returned to you bank. Please use your name as a reference together with your envelope number if you have one.

4. Easter Offerings: We omitted to include this in the original giving advice and are concerned that this omission has deprived parishioners of the opportunity to make an Easter Offering.

In order to rectify this, as we are nor certain when normal offertory will resume, the methods 2 or 3 above will enable parishioners to correct the situation by posting a cheque or making a bank transfer with your name and the reference ‘Easter’.

However, if you are unable to do either of the above, please hold any monies until restrictions are lifted.
