Since the abbey shop re-opened on the last Sunday of June this year after a long period of closure (since March 2020), caused by the pandemic, and the national lockdown it has been a pleasure to welcome customers back for the purchase of items of piety, cards, and a wide variety of books on different religious subjects.

Available in the north porch of the church and also in the shop are free copies of the Herefordshire Churches Tourism Group brochure for 2020/2021 which contains information on the many and varied churches of our county.

Customers will find on a table in the shop a display of children’s books for Advent and Christmas.  These titles are ideal for younger readers to learn about the true meaning of preparation for the Nativity of Jesus.  Available free of charge with the purchase of a children’s book is a colouring sheet that illustrate scenes from the Gospels about the life of Jesus.

A wide selection of Christmas cards are available that depict the birth of Christ at Bethlehem and other events associated with the Nativity of Jesus.

For recording your engagements for 2022 you will find copies of The Catholic Diary (with the Order of Mass) which is sold to support the work of Aid to the Church in Need.  Different colours of the diary are available.

A new card depicting the Abbey Church is available at £1.50 each.

Both new and old customers are welcome to the abbey shop which is open at the following times: Monday-Saturday 2-4pm.  Sunday after the 9.30 and 11am Masses.
